Who We Are
The Tomchei Torah Association was founded with a vision of performing acts of kindness and charity,
and was officially registered as a non-profit organization in March, 2023.
This significant step marked the transition from private voluntary activity of the association’s founders,
to organized and extensive activities within the framework of a recognized public body. Since its establishment, the association has significantly expanded its activities, and today it stands at the forefront of social action in Israel.
Areas of activity
At the heart of Tomchei Torah’s activities
is the commitment to adopt needy families and assist the destitute throughout the country.
The association’s nationwide presence allows it
to reach many diversecommunities and provide comprehensive and meaningful assistance.
Regular Monthly Support
.Every month, the association adopts hundreds of families, providing them with food cards that enable the purchase of food products and basic necessities in a dignified manner
Increased Support During Holidays
During holiday periods, the scope of assistance grows significantly, and thousands of families receive special support in the form of higher value food cards, allowing them to celebrate with dignity.
Long-term Accompaniment
The association's goal is not only to provide immediate assistance but also to accompany families over time until their economic recovery, by providing food cards on a regular basis.
International Activities
The association does not limit its activities to Israel's borders. Tomchei Torah also operates in Jewish communities in America, recognizing the importance of strengthening Jewish identity and mutual responsibility in the diaspora.

Tomchei Torah dedicates special attention to particularly vulnerable population groups:
• Widows and orphans
• Brides and grooms who need help at the beginning of their journey

The Tomchei Torah Association benefits from first-rate spiritual leadership and is under the presidency of Rabbi Yisrael Shneor Shlita - one of the most prominent rabbis in Israel. His leadership ensures that the association's activities are conducted according to Torah values and Jewish tradition.
